Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients referred through established partnerships. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while performing risk assessments and crisis evaluations as clinically indicated. Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and a supervising psychiatrist to coordinate care, participate in case consultations, and ensure continuity of treatment across telehealth and onsite settings at partner adult day centers. Complete timely documentation within the EMR while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Active New Jersey APRN License
- Board Certification as a PMHNP-BC
- Active DEA Registration with prescriptive authority
