Job Summary
Provide in-person psychiatric evaluations and medication management as a licensed PMHNP-BC within Riverside County facilities; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans including psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, and psychotropic management; supervise clinical staff, review documentation for accuracy and quality, and support discharge planning, utilization review, and quality assurance aligned with NCQA standards; travel between facilities as needed and educate patients and families on diagnoses, adherence, and wellness strategies; requires active CA license or eligibility and DEA registration, with HIPAA compliance and proficiency in clinical documentation and common EMR tools (Teams, eCW).
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification as PMHNP-BC
- Active licensure in California or eligibility
- Active DEA registration in California or willingness to obtain before prescribing
- Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings
- Ability to travel between Riverside County facilities
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
- Experience with EClinicalWorks EMR (preferred) and EHR systems
