Job Summary
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) provides direct client care including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and counseling within scope of practice; maintains licensure and continuing education; documents in EMR compliant with HIPAA; participates in on-call rotation; must be eligible for commercial insurance networks and Medicare; requires TN APRN license and board certification in psychiatry; office-based role in Knoxville with direct patient care, documentation, and adherence to standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Current, valid APRN license with specialty training In psychiatry issued by the state of TN required
- Board certification in psychiatry required
- Current, valid DEA registration required
- Two or more years of practice as a nurse practitioner preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: DEA, APRN, psychiatry specialization
