Job Summary
Part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner role at NATIVE HEALTH providing mental health and substance use care services in Arizona. Requires a master's degree in nursing, relevant board certification, and a valid nursing license. Experience with diverse populations preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
- A master’s degree in nursing with a psychiatric nurse practitioner specialty from an accredited program
- Board certification
- Three years of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment
- Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment
- Must have a current Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment
- Must obtain BLS certification within 90 calendar days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with a diverse population in a community health setting
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience in NextGen Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Additional Requirements
- Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy
- No DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years
- No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years
