Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a range of mental health conditions; perform medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions; administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables when necessary; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; deliver psychoeducation to patients and families; document services per company policies; stay current with advancing psychiatry through ongoing education; work as an Independent Contractor with hybrid in-person and telehealth responsibilities (Port Charlotte, FL) and option for telemedicine 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (FL license active)
- Active Florida NP license
- Minimum two years experience as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year as Psychiatric NP plus three years as NP in any specialty
- Outpatient setting experience preferred
