Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions; perform medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions; administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) when necessary; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; provide psychoeducation to patients and families; maintain thorough documentation in compliance with policies; stay current with psychiatry advancements and pursue ongoing professional development. Role is Independent Contractor with flexible hours; offices open Mon-Thu for in-person and telehealth; availability for telemedicine Fri-Sun; option to work 50% telemedicine from start; occasional on-call via phone seven days every 5-6 months; E-Verify participation indicates work authorization considerations.
Required Qualifications
- At least have two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or have one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty
- Must be board-certified to practice
- Must have an active license in the State of Florida
- Work Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
