Job Summary
Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions for patients in an outpatient psychiatric clinic. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables when necessary, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, offer psychoeducation to patients and families, and document services per policies. Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development. Flexible scheduling includes four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with telemedicine options and potential for additional days/pay; strong administrative support and access to digital technology to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Active license in the State of Florida
- Experience: at least two years as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty
