Job Summary
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct patient care in a virtual behavioral health program. Responsibilities include medication management, diagnostic evaluations, medical assessments, patient education on medications and outcomes, collaboration with the Medical Directors and treatment team, and participation in patient-facing tasks as needed. The role supports a flexible, remote-friendly schedule (40 hours per week: 32 clinical, 8 administrative) with access to AI-powered documentation to streamline charting. Requires MSN with PMHNP emphasis, PMHNP licensure, and at least 3 years of PMHNP experience across a broad age range; familiarity with EHR systems and remote care delivery; ability to work with medical staff, patients, and support teams; and a commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health care. This position is remote-friendly with opportunities to collaborate across departments and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience is preferred
- Experience with a wide range of ages (children to adults)
- Ability to communicate with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Computer and internet skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook)
