Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Ohio)

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations and medical assessments; educate patients regarding medications, risks, benefits and expected outcomes; collaborate with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up; participate in treatment team meetings; assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks; perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director. The role is remote-friendly with a 40-hour workweek, including a mix of clinical (approximately 32 hours) and administrative (approximately 8 hours) duties, supporting Charlie Health's mission to expand access to behavioral healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP (IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience preferred)
- Experience with a wide range of ages (children, teens, young adults, and adults)
- Ability to communicate and work with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff
- Proficiency in use of electronic health records (EHR)
- Computer and internet skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook
