Job Summary
Provides direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments; educates patients about medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes; collaborates with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up; participates in treatment team meetings; assists Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks; may perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director; 40 hours/week with 32 clinical and 8 administrative hours; remote-friendly; requires PMHNP licensure and MSN with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis; demonstrates proficiency with electronic health records; ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and administrative staff; background checks required for state licensing; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years' experience as PMHNP; IOP/ PHP/ IP experience preferred
- Experience with a wide range of ages (children to adults)
- Ability to work remotely; contract, part-time, or full-time basis acceptable
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills (Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with medical staff, patients, and administrative staff
