Job Summary
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) role providing direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments. Responsibilities include patient education on medications and outcomes, collaborating with support staff for follow-up, participating in treatment team meetings, assisting Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires a Master of Science in Nursing with a PMH emphasis and PMHNP licensure, plus 3+ years of PMHNP experience; remote-friendly and 40 hours per week (32 clinical, 8 administrative). Requires proficiency with electronic health records and strong communication with medical and clinical staff; eligible to work in a remote-friendly, flexible-care delivery model dedicated to behavioral health care.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience preferred
- Experience working with a wide range of ages (children through adults)
- Commitment to high-quality, cost-effective health care
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong communication with medical staff, patients, and support teams
- Computer and internet skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook
