Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Michigan)

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations and medical assessments. Educates patients regarding medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes. Collaborates with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up. Participates in treatment team meetings and assists Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Medical Director. This role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with 32 hours focused on clinical care and 8 hours on administrative tasks. Requires Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis, PMHNP license, and a minimum of 3+ years PMHNP experience. Remote-friendly arrangement allowing work from home or preferred location.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a PMHNP
- 3+ years experience as PMHNP
- Experience with diverse age groups (children to adults)
- Ability to work remote-friendly schedules
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Strong communication with medical staff and patients
Desired Qualifications
- PMHNP license in Michigan or ability to obtain
- 3+ years Experience as PMHNP
