Job Summary
Conduct outpatient behavioral health services, managing patients of all ages with psychiatric and behavioral conditions through evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning. Diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medications, and provide patient education and counseling while collaborating with integrated primary care and behavioral health teams. Perform 35 patient care hours and 5 administrative hours weekly, utilizing eClinicalWorks EMR and participating in clinic staff meetings and quality initiatives. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards. No nights, weekends, or holidays; requires board certification, active Indiana license, and DEA authority.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA license / prescriptive authority (post-hire)
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred community health experience a plus
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
