Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning including medication management for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Manage crisis situations and provide telehealth services while utilizing our HIPAA-compliant EHR platform. Deliver care in 60-minute initial visits and 30-minute follow-ups with no-show protection and direct deposit every two weeks. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule while Rula handles credentialing, billing, marketing, and compliance. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations
- An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in the state you'd like to work with Rula
- Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD, as required by state law
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
- Location requirement: This opportunity is only open to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) with office space in Georgia
