Job Summary
PMHNP role for Charlie Health, a virtual behavioral health provider. Responsible for direct patient care including medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments, plus patient education on medications and outcomes. Collaborates with Medical Directors and broader care team; participates in treatment team meetings; supports clinical policies and procedures; and assists with patient-facing tasks as needed. Role involves 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours per week, with a schedule of 40 hours weekly. Requires MS/Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health focus, PMHNP licensure, and 3+ years of PMHNP experience across pediatric to adult populations. Remote-friendly environment with AI-assisted documentation, EHR proficiency, and ongoing clinical education (free CEUs). Must be willing to undergo state background checks; remote work from home or elsewhere is supported.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience is preferred
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients
- Ability to communicate and work proficiently with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff
- Proficiency in use of electronic health records
- Requires computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Remote friendly
