Job Summary
Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders through individual and group therapy sessions while prescribing and monitoring medications as needed. Maintain detailed patient records, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families about mental health topics and participate in community outreach initiatives. Work a hybrid model with a minimum of three days per week in the office, supported by clinical supervision from Zivian Health and autonomy in care decisions. Join a clinician-led team of 10 to 12 where admin tasks like billing and insurance are handled on autopilot, allowing focus on meaningful client interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting
- Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing
- Board Certification via ANCC or AANP
- Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (based on clinic location)
- Active DEA in the state your prescribing (based on clinic location)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently to manage patient data, document clinical information, and access patient histories
- Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in a range of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues
- Work a hybrid model, Minimum of 3 days per week in office

- Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus, but not required
