Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents ages 5–18+ via secure telehealth. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management, while collaborating with supervising psychiatrists on complex cases. Partner with therapists and care coordinators to ensure cohesive, wraparound support and educate parents throughout the treatment process. Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations. Requires active PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas, current collaborating physician, and minimum 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. Flexible part-time schedule of 10–25 hours per week available for remote-based providers.
Required Qualifications
- Active PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas
- Has a current collaborating physician to practice or full authority to practice within the state
- Minimum 2 years of experience in child & adolescent psychiatry
- Strong clinical judgment
- Warm, collaborative communication style
- Comfort and fluency with virtual care delivery
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week
