Job Summary
Provide psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to patients with mental illness or substance abuse disorders under the supervision of a collaborating psychiatrist. Support plans and operations within a Patient-Centered Medical Home while helping the patient population, including uninsured and underinsured individuals, reach optimal mental health. This exempt position requires a current unrestricted APRN License in Ohio, a Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program, National Board Certification as a PMHNP, and two years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Specialized training in behavioral health and excellent knowledge of behavioral medicines and treatment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted APRN License in the State of Ohio
- Specialized training in the field of behavioral health
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicines and treatment for mental health conditions
- Accurate understanding of psychiatric diagnoses and their medical and behavioral management
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program
- National Board Certification as a PMHNP
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
