Job Summary
PMHNP provides direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments; educates patients about medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes; collaborates with support staff for patient communication and follow-up; participates in treatment team meetings; assists Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks; performs other duties as assigned by Medical Director; role supports remote work with 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours weekly; requires MSN with PMHNP emphasis and PMHNP licensure; 3+ years of PMHNP experience; EHR proficiency and strong communication with medical staff and patients; telehealth/virtual care environment; work-life flexibility emphasized by the provider program.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- 3+ years experience working as a PMHNP
- Experience with a wide range of ages (children to adults)
- Ability to communicate with medical staff, patients, clinical and administrative staff
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
