Job Summary
Provide mental health and psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting. Deliver services across acute, inpatient, outpatient, and close management levels to underserved populations requiring critical psychiatric care. Available for day shift Monday through Friday with no nights, holidays, weekends, or on-call duties. Requires ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH, active Florida APRN-PMH license, DEA registration, and a comprehensive background investigation. Prior correctional mental health and locked unit experience are highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA Physician Assistants with CAQ in Psychiatry
- Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA - CAQ license
- Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
- Available Shift Monday-Friday Day Shift
- No nights, holidays, weekends or on-call
