Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop medication treatment plans for adolescents, adults, and older adults in an outpatient setting. Deliver ongoing medication management and follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust medications as needed. Maintain timely documentation, collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements. Caseload expectations: 20–25 patient visits/week full-time or 10–15/week part-time. Role offers flexible scheduling (in-person and/or telehealth) with strong administrative support and potential for leadership growth. Open to 1099 with the option to transition to W-2 as caseload builds. Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
- Active license in MD or VA
- Multi-state licensure preferred
- Active DEA or CDS license
- Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
