Psychiatric ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator

The Psychiatric ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at Mission Hospital leads and coordinates nursing care in the unit during the designated shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient throughput from admission to discharge. The CNC collaborates with management to monitor and evaluate nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, supports patient-first initiatives, and contributes to engagement and workforce actions (e.g., rounds, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and policy compliance). Responsibilities include staff scheduling, inventory control, and implementing actions for improved outcomes and service, with ongoing collaboration with subject-matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and optimize clinical performance in an organized, trauma-informed environment.
