Psychiatric Charge RN

Oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients while advocating for their support and operational goals. Mentor and coach staff, prepare unit schedules, and establish daily work plans for the team. Schedule mandatory education, maintain current certifications per regulatory requirements, and guide the peer interviewing process for unit staff selection. Provide input and feedback to the nurse manager regarding team performance management. This role requires accountability, confidence, and strong communication skills for 1:1 and group interactions, including holding tough conversations. Candidates must be a graduate of an RN nursing program with current Basic Life Support certification.
