Job Summary
Conduct physical assessments, diagnose health issues, and prescribe medications for clients upon arrival. Order diagnostic tests, evaluate treatment responses, and notify physicians of abnormal findings. Administer non-prescription medications per Standing Orders and coordinate consulting physician examinations. Ensure compliance with Medical Policies, provide staff training on adolescent health needs, CPR, and First Aid, and maintain accurate documentation. Available for on-call phone consultations. Requires Master's degree, RN licensure, and ANCC/AANP board certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse with valid licensure
- Board certification by either ANCC or AANP
- Prescription authorization
- Availability for on-call phone consultations as needed
- Ability to maintain compliance with attending agency required training programs
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers
- Proficient use of software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
- Reliable transportation with a safe driving record
- Reliable, working telephone
