Job Summary
Provide information, services, and assistance for psychiatry services. Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling for psychiatrists using Cerner, maintaining calendars, ensuring compliance with BH policy, preparing and scanning client records, documenting diagnosis and medications, facilitating communication between psychiatrists, clinicians, and patients, assisting with prior authorizations and other paperwork, coordinating psychotropic medication refill requests, managing Medicare/Medicaid billing spreadsheets, ensuring confidentiality of patient information, scheduling and following up on appointments, supporting telehealth, administering injections of psychiatric or MAT medications, maintaining patient records and coding, conducting patient counseling on refills and referrals, and participating in required trainings (e.g., HIV-specific and cultural competency). Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Preference for 1 year in Behavioral Health.
