Job Summary
Join Volunteers of America as a Psychiatric APRN on the ACT Team, providing care to individuals with serious mental illnesses through psychiatric assessments and community-based treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed APRN in Utah (or ability to obtain) with prescriptive authority
- At least 1 year of psychiatric experience—inpatient or community mental health preferred
- Must be 21+, pass a drug screen and background check, and have a valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in inpatient psychiatric settings
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and Utah DHS – Office of Licensing background screening
