Job Summary
Onsite RN House Supervisor for acute psychiatric care. Leads nursing leadership team, ensures patient and staff safety, and coordinates activities and schedules for medical and non-medical tasks during the shift. Demonstrates leadership, organizes shift operations, supports staff development, and facilitates process-oriented groups. Possesses knowledge of adolescent/adult psychiatric care, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and effective communication to maintain high-quality clinical and interpersonal performance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (Required)
- Current CA RN license to practice in the state of California
- Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred
- Experience in inpatient mental health settings at a management level
- Advanced crisis management skills
- Crisis management abilities
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- CPI certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
