Job Summary
Psych Registered Nurse East unit provides patient-centered, comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. Responsibilities include admission assessments, ongoing patient monitoring, administering care as ordered, meticulous documentation, responding to patient needs promptly, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to customize and deliver holistic treatment plans, and serving as an interface between healthcare providers and community support systems for ongoing care. Requires effective advocacy for patients/families, adherence to nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage), and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in good standing
- Bachelor's Degree or applicable work experience in lieu of degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- 1 year RN experience required
