Job Summary
Part-time Nursing faculty position for a Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Regis University. Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Nursing; Doctoral degree in nursing preferred
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty (PMHNP)
- Colorado APRN license with prescriptive authority for the designated population foci
- Minimum two years of full-time (or equivalent) nursing clinical experience
- Ability to teach adults using varied modalities (classroom, online, synchronous platforms)
- Knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation, course planning, and student assessment
- Strong oral and written communication skills; organizational and project-planning abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with information management software
- Commitment to scholarly activity in alignment with institutional mission
- Ability to engage in service to the institution, profession, and community
- Eligibility to participate in faculty governance and recruitment/retention activities
- Understanding and implementation of diverse and inclusive teaching practices
