Job Summary
Assist psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals with patient care; record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant data; prepares and administers medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or changes; handle administrative duties, including scheduling, phone calls, and managing electronic health records (EHR).
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred; diploma or certificate of completion accepted.
- Training in CPR and OSHA is required; CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or related healthcare setting preferred
