Psych Clinical Nurse Coord South Adult High Acuity

Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Support a patient-first philosophy by engaging in service recovery when necessary. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including implementing courses of action for training, development, and performance evaluations. Assist with staff scheduling and manage practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment. This role is part of the Psych Clinical Nurse Coordinator South Adult team at Mission Hospital, a Magnet® designated facility in Asheville, North Carolina.
