Job Summary
Two PSWs sought to provide one-on-one in-home care for an elderly private client in Wasaga Beach area. Responsibilities include assistance with ADLs, meal support, engagement, safety, and following the care plan with companionship. Shifts are Fridays 1-6pm and Sat/Sun/Mon 7:30am-12:30pm. Must have a Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months, CPR/First Aid, COVID and TB proof, valid G license with insurance, reliable transportation, and at least 3 years of experience with seniors. Requires compassion, patience, and ability to engage and advocate for the client.
Required Qualifications
- Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
- CPR and First Aid
- COVID and TB proof
- Access to reliable transportation - G License and valid insurance
- Demonstrated working experience with the elderly
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
- At least 3 years of experience working with our senior population
