Job Summary
Phlebotomist performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collects specimens for tests (e.g., drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests), enters patient data accurately, processes specimens for testing, maintains logs, provides patient service, and may travel to additional sites. The role may involve processing billing information, handling administrative tasks, and collaborating with teams to ensure quality care; accessible in Patient Service Centers or client offices with opportunities for growth and participation in incentive plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
