Job Summary
Drive market share growth of high voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear in North America; develop business strategy to meet order intake and profitability targets. Provide technical expertise on GIS and training to the Sales Team and Customers to promote GE Vernova’s technology. Achieve target order intake and profitability; understand RFQ/demand; trigger tendering (Go/No Go, target price, value proposition); prepare and submit compliant offers; negotiate contracts; grow products and identify key accounts; partner with regional commercial teams; support channel partners; maintain commercial databases; travel up to 25% domestically and some international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within utility industry with role of similar responsibilities
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and some international travel as needed mainly for direct customer interaction
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
