PSS / Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)

Job Summary
Provide assistance with activities of daily living for residents in an Assisted Living setting, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other ADLs. Follow the resident’s schedule as set by the supervisor; offer emotional and social support; document daily logs; inform the supervisor of resident issues or concerns; respect confidentiality; maintain independence and dignity of residents. Requires at least one year of experience in senior care; CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state; strong teamwork, problem-solving, and basic computer skills; ability to make independent decisions when warranted; vaccination proof required unless exempt due to medical, religious, or personal beliefs. COVID-19 vaccination requirement applies where required by policy; local government requirements may apply.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in senior care
- CNA or CHHA license depending on the state
- Proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with staff
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently
- Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle high-stress situations
- Compassionate, professional demeanor and empathetic approach
