PSR - Patient Services Representative - Jimmy Everest Clinic - JEC

The PSR II coordinates patient appointments in an out-patient clinic, obtains and updates demographics, verifies insurance and referrals, handles payments and cash drawer reconciliation, prepares records and forms, and supports clinic operations. Responsibilities include scheduling by phone or in person, answering inbound calls, distributing to appropriate staff, obtaining and filing referrals, processing insurance denials and assisting with appeals, maintaining EMR documentation, assisting with chart preparation and immunization cards, promoting the patient portal, and ensuring patient confidentiality while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
