Job Summary
Protect federal property and employees by controlling access, screening visitors, patrolling facilities, and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, managing vehicle movements, operating gates and CCTV, preparing logs/reports, and enforcing regulations. Requires FPS credentials, U.S. citizenship, ability to pass physical/drug tests and background checks, and continued qualification for FPS postings. Location: Clifton, NJ; on-site role; full-time with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must pass a physical and drug screen
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain contract suitability
- FPS Training Credentials (Contractor Provided Initial Weapons Exhibit/Certificate; Contractor Provided Basic Training Exhibit/Certificate; Contractor Provided Refresher Training Exhibit/Certificate if applicable; FPS Orientation Exhibit/Certificate)
- Valid New Jersey Handgun Permit
- English language literacy
