PSM SPECIALIST I

Job Summary
Maintain a compliant PSM and RMP program at the facility by managing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and training records. Organize and lead PSM meetings while tracking action items and assisting in resolution. Participate in ammonia system operations as necessary and support refrigeration projects, including scope development and Management of Change processes. Assist with the facility's Environmental Sustainability initiatives and support the APSM compliance implementation schedule. Work Monday through Friday with weekend requirements. Pilgrim's processes fresh and frozen food products globally, operating facilities in 14 states and international markets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 or more years of directly related experience
- knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 regulations
- Ability to read and interpret piping, instrument, and block flow diagrams
- Must work weekends
- Monday – Friday schedule
Desired Qualifications
- College Degree in related field
- APSM or similar PSM compliance software experience
- basic understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- SAP knowledge
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- self-motivated and capable of working independently
