PSM Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance across company facilities by assisting with regulatory engagements, audits, and incident investigations. Maintain Process Safety Information, program documentation, and electronic Management of Change systems while participating in Process Hazard Analyses and Mechanical Integrity programs. Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to assess units, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve process safety issues. Retrieve and report key performance indicator data, draft guidance documents, and track closure of action items from internal reviews and audits. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of direct PSM experience; occasional travel to remote sites and rigorous physical demands are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or related field
- 3+ years of direct PSM experience (e.g., PSM Engineer, PSM Coordinator, Process Facility Manager)
- working knowledge and hands-on application of all PSM elements, including PSI, MOC, MI, PSSR, audits, and document control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- familiarity with CMMS
- Excellent organization for managing compliance documentation and multiple priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication for training, reporting, and cross-functional work
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process safety issues
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working in field environments and conducting facility walkthroughs

- Experience supporting construction and startups, including PSI compilation and conducting Pre-Startup Safety Reviews
