Job Summary
Manage emergency and hospital medicine duties at a small critical access center within the Providence system, handling daily ED volumes of 8-12 patients and 2-3 hospital admissions. Perform 12–24-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, utilizing the EPIC EMR system. Board certified or eligible family medicine physicians with existing EM/HM experience, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are required. Independent contractor status offers tax benefits and moonlighting opportunities, with travel and malpractice insurance covered. Located in Chewelah, WA, the role provides access to Seattle via five-hour drive or direct flights, surrounded by outdoor activities and a low cost of living.
Required Qualifications
- EM/HM experience
- Board Certified/Board Eligible FM or EM
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ATLS certification
- Current PALS certification
