Job Summary
Process Support Engineer (PSE) to guide products through full lifecycle with high-visibility customer support via on-site installations, system diagnostics, and service/repair of complex semiconductor equipment. Collaborate with customers and R&D to develop leading-edge processes for manufacturing advanced chips, design hypothesis experiments and DOEs, analyze data with statistics, and produce high-level conclusions. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analyses, and resolve diverse process-engineering and customer product challenges. Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust; mentor junior colleagues and potentially lead small projects. Technologies include Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and work to build consensus among project stakeholders
- Communication proficiency in English language
