PSC Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests. Enter patient data accurately and timely, process billing information, and prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and handling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed and work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. This role requires full COVID-19 vaccination and certification or three months of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomists may work in Patient Service Centers or Client offices, with opportunities for continuous growth and participation in the PST Incentive Plan.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
