PSC Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain patient logs while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed and complete administrative duties. This role requires full COVID-19 vaccination, a high school diploma, and phlebotomy certification or training. Monday through Thursday shifts run from 6:30am to 11:30am. Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
