Job Summary
Follow lesson plans, classroom procedures, and schedules provided by the regular teacher while maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment that supports student learning, safety, and respect. Reinforce school rules, expectations, and biblical values by modeling Christlike character and engaging students with care consistent with Christian values. Supervise students during instructional time and assigned duties, provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding lesson completion and student behavior, and communicate clearly with administrators and faculty. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters while complying with all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and Substitute Teacher guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow lesson plans, classroom procedures, and school policies
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Must agree to a background check
Desired Qualifications
- College coursework or degree in education or a related field
- Prior experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or ministry setting
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
