Job Summary
Test, inspect, and repair all spring-operated and pilot-operated PRVs including AGCO, Crosby, and Taylor models per manufacturer manuals and NBBIC/ASME codes. Mentor technicians and apprentice-level employees on valve repair procedures, safety training, and critical dimension standards. Lead crew activities, order parts for upcoming work, and ensure accurate job ticket submission for invoicing. Maintain familiarity with API/ANSI valve specifications and company safety policies while handling multiple projects and communicating technical details to non-technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year experience conducting valve repair, testing, reconditioning, or modification of relief valves
- Proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read manufacture manuals and critical dimensions for repair
- Understanding of ASME, VR & NBIC regulations
- Computer skills, including MS Office, MS Xcel
- Standard First Aid/CPR with AED, OSHA 30, and Safeland
