Job Summary
Test, inspect, and repair all spring-operated and pilot-operated PRVs including AGCO, Crosby, and Taylor models per manufacturer manuals and NBBIC codes. Mentor technicians and apprentice-level employees on valve repair procedures, safety training, and critical dimension requirements while guiding the crew on-site and in the shop. Order parts for upcoming work, ensure job tickets are complete for invoicing, and lead activities for all staff. Maintain knowledge of ASME, NBIC, and API regulations to support testing and setting of vapor and liquid valves.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year experience conducting valve repair, testing, reconditioning, or modification of relief valves
- Ability to read manufacture manuals and critical dimensions for repair
- Understanding of ASME, VR & NBIC regulations
- Standard First Aid/CPR with AED, OSHA 30, and Safeland
- Computer skills, including MS Office, MS Xcel
