Job Summary
Prepare daily and long-term lesson plans according to curriculum guidelines while developing children's interests through creative activities. Supervise students throughout the day in classrooms and during breaks, maintaining discipline and assessing their educational progress. Organize school activities such as excursions, concerts, and sporting events to encourage maximum participation. Manage classroom bulletin boards with updated schedules and appoint discipline captains. Discuss student progress with parents and guardians, attending staff meetings and training sessions. Ensure substitute teachers have access to time-tables and work plans during absences. Maintain expertise in History for Primary classes and stay informed on latest educational trends.
Required Qualifications
- Min 2 to 3 years of experience in teaching History to Primary classes
- Bachelor's degree
- D. Ed/ D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed
- Teachers cleared TET/CTET
- Excellent communication skills
- English language skills
- Counselling skills
- Computer proficiency
- Good classroom management skill
- Expertise in subject
- Tech Savvy with basic knowledge of MS Office
