Job Summary
This part-time position involves serving as the Head Coach for a Middle School Science Club/Olympiad, delivering academic support through a structured program. Responsibilities include conducting meetings with parents to communicate important information, coaching in a constructive manner, monitoring safety, and adhering to all district policies and sports guidelines. Applicants should exhibit a commitment to teamwork and respect, and preferably be a licensed teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to model guiding principles of Children First, Respect for All, Teamwork, Excellence in Quality, and Commitment to Individual Needs
- Experience fulfilling roles and responsibilities as directed by administration
- Skills in teaching and coaching in a positive manner
- Knowledge of sportsmanship and teamwork
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance with board policies
- Ability to facilitate pre-season meetings and communicate effectively with parents
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed teacher preferred
