Proxy Voting Team Leader/Supervisor

Job Summary
Manage end-to-end proxy voting activity across Man Group's accounts, ensuring accurate and timely ballot processing for complex, high-priority events. Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and training to the proxy voting team while overseeing workflow monitoring, bottleneck resolution, and data quality standards. Serve as a subject matter expert on proxy voting platforms, supporting administration, troubleshooting, and user onboarding. Enforce regulatory compliance and client-specific voting guidelines, preparing voting reports and materials for internal governance committees. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties, driving operational improvements and maintaining up-to-date procedural documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in investment operations, supervising an operational function, or leading a project/initiative to completion
- Knowledge of at least one industry-standard proxy voting platform (e.g. Glass Lewis, ISS Proxy Exchange, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end voting workflows, including in high-volume or time-critical scenarios
- Demonstrated experience maintaining high standards of data quality, including reconciliation and exception management
- Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. SRD II, ERISA, SEC requirements as applicable)
- Experience working across multiple fund structures or jurisdictions
- Familiarity with ESG/responsible investing frameworks and proxy voting policy
- Exposure to automation, workflow technology, or operational transformation projects
- Experience contributing to regulatory reporting or client due diligence processes
- Strong operational and technical expertise in proxy voting, with the ability to act as a credible subject matter expert
- Leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to team development and knowledge sharing
- Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to risk management and controls
- Able to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of seniority and with external counterparties
- Take ownership and manage competing priorities across the team
