Job Summary
Load approved PLC projects and IPC images onto control hardware per work instructions. Run automated or manual test sequences to confirm I/O, network, and HMI operation, then record serial numbers, test outcomes, and firmware versions in the ERP system with corresponding barcodes. Build and install equipment, assemble panels for delivery, and support inventory counts. Assist with troubleshooting under guidance of the Lead Provisioner or Controls Engineer. Maintain a clean workspace and organize shared tooling. Requires two years of experience wiring, testing, or provisioning electronic assemblies; familiarity with PLC concepts and Windows-based IPC imaging tools; ability to read electrical schematics; valid driver's license; and capability to lift up to 60 lb subassemblies and stand for eight hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2)+ years experience wiring, testing, or provisioning electronic or electromechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with basic PLC concepts
- Familiarity with Windows-based IPC imaging tools
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions
- Basic skills in Microsoft Excel
- Basic skills in barcode-label software
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lb control-panel subassemblies
- Ability to push/pull pallets up to 80 lb
- Color vision sufficient to distinguish wiring ferrules and LED status indicators
- Near vision at 12 in. for label verification
- Auditory acuity to hear forklift horns
- Ability to read and comprehend complex work instructions, correspondences, and memos
- Ability to write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to navigate ERP screens
- Ability to upload firmware via vendor tools
- Ability to join Teams calls for customer acceptance tests
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to calculate watt-loss and power supply loading
- Ability to apply logical troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, diagram, or schedule form
- Steel-toe footwear
